To facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration, the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society and Information Theory Society are collaborating this year to set up a pair of inter-society special sessions at each other’s flagship conferences: the IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS) 2023 (May 21-23, Monterrey, CA, USA) and the IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory (ISIT) 2023 (June 25-30, Taipei, Taiwan).
The inter-society special session at ISCAS 2023 consists of 5 papers that are primarily about circuits and systems design for state-of-the-art topics and also pose questions interesting to information theorists. This session (A5L-05) will be held at 15:30-17:00 Pacific Time on Monday May 22. It will also be recorded and made available to ISIT 2023 attendees.
The mirror special session at ISIT 2023 will have papers introducing recent information theoretical results that pose new problems to solve in circuits and systems implementation. Details of this session will be posted at a later date.
The ISIT 2023 special session will be live at 14:30-16:10 Taiwan Time on Tuesday June 27 (1:30 am-3:10 am on Monday June 26 New York Time and 7:30 am-9:10 am on Monday June 26 Paris Time). ISCAS 2023 attendees will be granted free access to this session. If you are interested, please mark the corresponding box in the registration process so that your contact information can be passed to ISIT 2023 organizers. We hope to see many of you at these exciting inter-society sessions at ISCAS 2023 and ISIT 2023.
